Goldstar Insurance teams up with Hisense Uganda to insure electronics at the most affordable rates for customers. This new partnership was announced yesterday, 29th April 2021 by Goldstar Insurance Company and the insurance policy will cover appliances purchased against common threats like theft and damages to the electronics.

In order to enhance customer satisfaction, this new partnership where Goldstar Insurance teams up with Hisense Uganda will give customers a whole new experience with the guaranteed protection of their appliances. Goldstar Insurance company will insure appliances purchased from Hisense Uganda showrooms for as low as UGX 35,000.
Hisense Uganda that is popular for its amazing deals and end of year sales has shown continuous effort towards improving customer experience. With this new collaboration, it is thrilling news for customers as they will now be protected for up to 3 years against risks such as accidental damage and theft, in addition to the warranty issued by Hisense Uganda.
Mr Moinuddin Mohammed, the sales Manager for Hisense Uganda states that in addition to the 5-year warranty that Hisense offers clients, the addition of insurance will further give more value to the customer.

Mr Jay Sakaria, the Goldstar Business Development Manager elaborates that the aim, according to the company, is to insure every Hisense appliance for as little as UGX 14,000 against common risks such as robbery, floods, and fires.
He also explained, “The electronics cover will also greatly improve perceptions on insurance uptake in the country”.
The electronics insurance will be available at all official Hisense Uganda showrooms located in Kabalagala, Forest mall, Oasis Mall, and Jinja road.
