You need to download the Standard Chartered Mobile App and tap on “Open Account”. The app is available on Google Play Store and the App Store.
Start the application by entering your Personal details like your name, gender.

You will be sent a 6-digits OTP to your mobile number that you are required to enter in order to proceed.

Update more personal details and then upload the documents needed.
Provide FATCA declaration and review your application. FATCA is United States (US) legislation that came into effect on 1 July 2014 and that seeks to prevent tax evasion by US Persons through the use of accounts held outside the United States. FATCA requires financial institutions outside of the US to collect information about their clients’ tax status under FATCA and report annually, information on financial accounts held by US Persons to the US IRS or the relevant tax authority.
Review the details you have provided and accept the Terms and Conditions.

Submit the request and wait for a while for your account to be created. The account will be activated after client verification on card delivery.
