Refactory Uganda is here to offer job opportunities in tech. The company is looking for a Senior Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/ID) Engineer or Software Engineer that is conversant with with CI/ID Concepts to facilitate the CI/ID Module on the company’s Bootcamp program.

Those with the competencies and experience should share their CVs (Cover letter), a copy of their academic documents and link to their GiftHub accounts to their previous works.

Refactory Uganda also prepares developers for the working world by offering skills through a 3 step program.

The 3 step program lasts 9 months. By the end of the program, as a developer be sure that you’ll be equipped with the right skills to get you hired. The first step is where applicants are introduced to tech and get training in various areas like leadership. The second step is a month Bootcamp where applicants create digital solutions for real life problems. The third step is the end of the program where students are ready to enter the field as employees or entrepreneurs.

Some of the requirements needed to apply are a computer, 1 or 2 achievements in the past and a 1-2 minute video describing yourself, a subject you are passionate about and how you hope Refactory Uganda will help you achieve your goals. Background of Refactory Uganda.

It is a program that was established in 2018 through the partnership of Clarke International University, tech company Laboremus Uganda and NGO Fontes Foundation to nurture software development skills tailored to make youth job-ready.

It is, in essence, a tech program that provides an intensive nine-month program that will give university graduates the skillsets needed to boost the standard of the Ugandan tech sector.

Refactory Uganda’s goal is to develop a tech sector in Uganda that can succeed globally! It will ensure this by nurturing tech talents and providing support best suited to meet their needs.
