However, customers can seek help from the telecom company on their toll-free number, 100. Calling on the company’s toll-free line does not give you a direct route to a customer care agent however as you have to go through a few channels before you can talk to one.
Relief as Ugandans are given up to September 1st to renew driving permits: The Ugandan government, through the ministry of Works and Transport, has given drivers whose driving permits have expired up to September 1st to renew them. The State Minister for transport Fred Byamukama says that this has been done in response to the lifting of the 42-day lockdown which had led to the temporary closure of the Uganda Security Printing Company, the agency in charge of issuing driving permits.

The QR payment code will enable cashless payments from mobile phones by simply scanning a Mastercard QR Code. This announcement was made during the fourth virtual Annual Bankers’ Conference that was held last week.
