After a long week of social media outburst due to its new terms of use<\/span><\/a>, SafeBoda speaks out to clarify what they actually mean. Many users have since expressed disappointment in the company and wondered if there was a possibility for SafeBoda to review the new terms of use anytime soon. The notification that popped up on the app on Monday instructed users to accept the new terms of use before they could proceed and could read through to understand what they meant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Also read: SafeBoda new terms and conditions will make you quit using the app for good.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking on the Fat Boy show on RX Radio this morning with Fat Boy and Olive, SafeBoda founder Ricky Thompson made clarifications on some of the grievances that have been expressed by many of its users as observed on social media. One of the first and most important things he explained was that the customer’s safety will always be the company’s major priority and it is not diverting from that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Monday evening, the company received heavy backlash for the new terms of use that clearly stated in some clauses the company would not be responsible for any actions caused by service providers that the app facilitates. Service providers include the riders, food vendors, grocery stores and pharmacies all whose products you can find through the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
