If, during tours of the Uganda National Museum, you desired to possess one of these unique historical objects, now here’s your opportunity. The Uganda National Museum to participate in a digital exhibition through its collaboration with a software development firm, Murcom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Museum will be auctioning some of its unique art pieces on the NFT marketplace after collaborating with a software company, Murcom allowing digital representations of these artefacts to be made. These representations will be created using the software firm\u2019s MUDA NFT platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are anything unique that could be stored digitally and thought of to hold value. Just like the art pieces in the Uganda Museum, photos will be taken of these converting them into digital representations and then take on the format of JPG files giving people digital ownership of the items, not ownership of the physical item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Uganda National Museum one of the oldest in Africa is rich with history displaying unique artefacts like royal regalia, pre-historic tools and cultural pieces from different tribes each telling a story of its own. These will now be made available and auctioned on the upcoming Binance NFT, the NFT marketplace of Binance<\/span><\/a>, the world\u2019s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Binance NFT will be launching on the 24th of June 2021 with MUDA<\/span><\/a> and the Uganda National Museum participating in Binance NFT\u2019s \u2018100 Creators\u2019 campaign<\/span><\/a>, an exclusive campaign to support and promote innovative creators from around the world and spotlight NFT pieces from different cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
