Following the appointment of a new cabinet by President Kaguta Museveni, there is a new Minister of ICT in Uganda and a State Minister for ICT and National Guidance. The list released on Tuesday evening reveals one of many changes made in the cabinet as the President takes on his sixth term after elections held in January this year.

Dr Chris Baryomunsi takes over as the new Minister of ICT in Uganda from Judith Nabakooba who has been appointed a new position. She is the new Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.
Before his appointment as the new Minister for ICT in Uganda, he served as the State Minister of Health for General Duties.
Ms Joyce Ssebugwawo is the new State Minister for Information Communication and Technology and National Guidance. A position that was held by Peter Ogwang who is now the new Minister of State in the office of the President for economic monitoring.
Ms Joyce Ssebugwawo is a Ugandan politician, entrepreneur and a former minister in the Buganda government.
Dr Musenero Monica has also been appointed as the new Minister, Office of the President serviced by the State House Comptroller, in charge of Science, Technology and Innovation.
