This challenge will help to address some of the gaps in the supply of drugs to health centres and eventually to patients. One of the biggest issues faced by National Medical Stores is the issue of tracking medical supplies delivered to health centres which Trackmed will work to solve by enabling traceability of drugs to the patient.

A huge number of people in Uganda have little or no access to drugs due to gaps in the supply chain. This in turn affects patients who end up buying the few available drugs at a high price seeing that they are scarce.
