The Outbox Edu Software Development Bootcamp

The Outbox Edu Software Development Bootcamp is organized such that it will give applicants a way forward in setting up their career in Software Development. Outbox Edu has a goal of creating 200,000 job opportunities by 2030 and plans on achieving this through training young talent in Software Development.

Through the Outbox Edu Software Development Bootcamp, applicants are expected to receive soft skills training, a problem solving intensive curriculum and a career kickstart through the virtual internship. This Bootcamp is targeted towards people with limited or no experience in software engineering.

The Bootcamp will take place in 4 phases, those are; the Admission phase, the introduction phase, the Bootcamp itself where applicants will receive training and finally the virtual internship.

This program starts on 1st March 2021 and will go on for 20 weeks. All those interested will be required to pay UGX 360,000 as a mandatory fee and the overall program fee will be UGX 1.2million. To get the virtual internship, applicants should’ve paid the full fee by the end of the program.

The virtual internship will last for 3 months and another 3 months depending on one’s performance. The virtual internship will allow participants to work on projects for top tech companies in and outside Uganda.
