MIIC Enterprise Development Program 2021 is a peer to peer entrepreneurship program organized by Makerere Innovation and Incubation Center(MIIC) in collaboration with Master Card Foundation and The Innovation Village. This is an open business idea development platform for starting and growing business ideas in any sectors.
Eligibility for MIIC Enterprise Development Program 2021
The program targets youths from Uganda with a business idea, prototype, proof of concept or product development skill.
Benefits of the MIIC Enterprise Development Program 2021
Applicants will get entrepreneurial skills development, business coaching, product development mentorship, capital access platforms and networks to help you start and grow an enterprise.
Due to the COVID-19 SOPs, the program will be hybrid (Online-zoom and offline).
Date: The program is scheduled to start on 1st March 2021 and will last 2 months, 3 days a week, 3 hours a day.

Refactory Ug career day “Tech knot”
Refactory Ug is hosting it’s annual career day “Tech knot” Tech knot is Refactory’s annual open day where the tech industry and the talented student body come together to network and further discuss the opportunities available. In addition, they assess the impact that rapidly evolving technology has on the technological ecosystem.
The goal of this open day is to link aspiring software engineers and tech companies by providing a platform and the knowledge needed to make hiring and being hired- easier and better. The very first edition of tech knot was known to many as career day. There were over 12 companies in attendance and 60 students. Refactory Ug was able to understand the needs of those in the industry and the students were also able to get some insights into what employers are looking for
How you can be part of the Tech knot day.
There are three categories available for those who are interested. You can be a part of Tech Knot as a:
Gold package:
This package goes for 500,000UGX and will give allow Partners access to the following:
· Speak at the event
· Speed dates
· Virtual booths
· Networking
· Up to 5 representatives
Silver package goes for 300,000UGX and will give partners access to the following:
· Speed dates
· Virtual booth
· Networking
· Up to 3 representatives
Bronze package is a free ticket to this event and will only give partners access to the following:
· Speed dates
· Networking
· 1 representative
