Spotify What’s New is a new section in the music streaming app that collects together new music and content from musicians and podcasts you follow on the platform.
How the Spotify What’s New feature works
The new feature should be accessible via a new bell icon on the top right of the app’s home screen. Whenever there is new content for you to check out, a blue dot will show in your app. The feature also includes filters that allow you to sort for new music releases or new podcast and show episodes, helping you find what you’re looking for more quickly.
How about if you want to add more content to your Spotify What’s New feed? You just need to go to your favorite artist and show pages and tap “Follow” in order to have their new releases appear in your feed over time. The feature should roll out to all users globally on iOS and Android over the coming weeks.

Facebook recently teamed up the streaming service to create means for users to listen to songs through the messaging app. When a user posts a single track or podcast episode to Facebook using this sharing feature, the post will now display in a new mini player, allowing other people who come across their post to play the content as they scroll or reshare it.
