After a year’s delay, the European soccer championship is finally here and kicks off today, 11 June 2021. It was postponed from last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Here is how to watch Euro 2020 on StarTimes and SuperSport on DStv and GOtv to get the full viewing experience for the season.

How to watch Euro 2020 on StarTimes
StarTimes announced that it was the official broadcasting partner of the Euro 2020 games in Uganda. It has launched a fun campaign called the “Wangula ne StarTimes this Euro 2020” campaign with a variety of offers for customers.
How to watch Euro 2020 via TV
It provides the most affordable and convenient payment alternative to its consumers. Customers can watch any game of their choosing for 3,000/- each day, regardless of the bouquet they subscribe to.
Here are the various subscription options.

With the Euro special offer courtesy of StarTimes, DTT (aerial/antenna) Basic customers can subscribe at Shs 20,000 and will automatically upgrade to Classic and watch all the games LIVE. For DTT Nova customers, they can simply subscribe at Shs 20,000 and upgrade to Basic.
Local channels Sanyuka TV and Wan Luo TV will air some games in their respective language. Sanyuka TV will air the games with Luganda commentary while Wan Luo TV will give customers the Luo version.
Note: Local channels will show only one game per day. If the customer wants to watch all the games on DTT (aerial/atenna) the Euro offer is Shs 20,000 where they have to upgrade to the basic bouquet.
How to watch Euro 2020 via the app.
Aside from attractive subscription deals, StarTimes will allow customers to select their favourite language for game commentary which include: English, Luganda, Runyooro, Rutooro, Runyankoore and Rukiga for those streaming the games via the StarTimes ON APP.
The StarTimes ON APP is a video streaming service for watching live TV and entertainment on your phone. One of the app’s key offerings is live football.
Customers can follow live matches including UEFA Euro 2020, African Nations Championship, The England Emirates FA Cup, La Liga, Bundesliga, Coppa Italia and many more. It brings you the latest football news, live scores, results, replays, fixtures, standings and video highlights.

How to watch Euro 2020 on SuperSport on DStv and GOtv
SuperSport, the home of sports entertainment, has also unveiled its expert line-up for UEFA Euro 2020 coverage, as well as a number of new fascinating shows that will deliver unrivalled insights and coverage of the Season.
Joan Semanda Kizza, the PR and Communications Manager, MultiChoice Uganda said that SuperSport will also broadcast online Zoom interviews with international pundits led by main presenters Julia Stuart, Neil Andrews and Carol Tshabalala.
“It is exciting that the Euro 2020 is finally here. We understand that sports lovers have waited for over a year to enjoy the electrifying sporting action. SuperSport will therefore be broadcasting all 51 matches live, there will be full repeat broadcasts, plus nine- and 26-minute highlight packages that will be available on CatchUp and the DStv app.”

“As you might have noticed your sports lineup channels have changed to SuperSport Euro (DStv) and GOtv Euro (GOtv) and this was effected on 1st June ahead of today’s games. Both our DStv and GOtv customers will have access to the action which is going live tonight,” Semanda said at a press briefing held at the MultiChoice Uganda Head Office in Kololo.
Customers will be able to catch up on matches on CH 224 which will be available for DStv Family to DStv Premium customers. SuperSport will also broadcast UEFA’s daily show on all platforms, with one-hour build-ups for all 51 matches, in addition to post-match wrap-ups.

The SuperSport social media handles will provide frequent updates on fixtures, results, live scoring, logs, and top scorers. News, match previews, highlights, team and player profiles will be available, live coverage of every social match, plus studio clips, commentary and the content of the magazines.
How to watch Euro 2020 on Showmax
Showmax Pro subscribers will be able to live stream all matches of the Euro 2020 on their streaming service. Launched last year, Showmax Pro combines the existing Showmax entertainment offering with music channels, news and live sports streaming from SuperSport.
