Netflix is one of the most widely used streaming services with nearly 200 million global subscribers. Original shows, no ads, offline playing features, several membership plans, and more are all reasons why. It’s also quite easy to use. You may register in only a few clicks and begin watching one of the most recent series.
Are you, however, making the most of your Netflix subscription? Here are some fantastic Netflix tricks to help you improve your user experience.

A list of Netflix tricks you can use today
Use a VPN to watch other country’s Netflix content
Because of territorial licensing, the Netflix catalogue of movies and TV shows is different in each country. For some, this may be a significant downside. But luckily, there is a way for you to watch everything on Netflix regardless of your country of residence.
One way to do it is to install a VPN on your device and use it whenever you want to access the Netflix library of a different country. It is easy to use such a tool; however, Netflix blocks most free VPNs, so you’ll have to get a paid one for it to work.
Download Movies and TV shows to watch offline
Have a long trip ahead of you? By downloading a couple of your favourite movies on your device, you’ll be able to watch on the go—whether you’re on the move or somewhere with a poor mobile data connection.
You can download Netflix content to watch offline on any preferred device, like Android, iOS, Windows 10, and Amazon Fire OS.
Watch movies with friends and family together online
The Netflix Party Chrome extension is a tool that helps people watch Netflix TV shows or movies with others. You can also chat in real-time while watching the movie.
To be able to use Netflix Party, everyone will need to have their own separate Netflix account. Such a party can be held for up to 50 people, which is quite a lot. For more information on how to use this feature, join a Netflix Party, and customize it, check out our guide on how to use Netflix Party.

Use Netflix’s secret codes
If you have a hard time finding something new to watch and Netflix keeps recommending you movies and TV shows that you have no interest in watching, try to use secret Netflix codes. There are hundreds of individual codes that you can use to browse hidden genres that are impossible to be found in the main menu.
For example, you’ll be able to spot the comedy genre on Netflix’s menu; but if you want to specifically browse the dark comedy genre, the 869 code will help you get there. For more information, see this guide on how to use Netflix’s secret codes.
Watch Netflix at off-peak hours for better video quality
Another way to improve your video quality is streaming during less busy hours (like early in the morning, late at night, etc.), according to a Digital Trends report. During the study, they found video quality and speed improved significantly during hours when fewer people were logged in and watching. Finally, a legit excuse to quit your job and watch some high-quality Bridgerton all afternoon.
Remove embarrassing titles from your viewing history
You can selectively delete your history. Head to this page (accessed by going to your Account > Drop down your profile menu > Viewing Activity), where you’ll see everything you’ve watched in chronological order, and remove any and all of your misdeeds. And if those unwanted watches extend into the great streaming beyond, here’s how to cover your tracks on YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, and more.
