Let’s get started with this weekend’s most popular releases. Sweet Girl, a Netflix original film, is set to take us on a journey fueled by deep-seated vengeance. After you’ve seen Jason Momoa seek justice for his late wife’s death at the hands of a greedy pharmaceutical company, Amazon Prime Video has Annette, a jukebox musical film starring Adam Driver, to put a little song in your heart.
Finally, HBO Max is airing Reminiscence, a sci-fi epic starring Hugh Jackman that follows him through other people’s memories as he searches for a lady he has only met but immediately loves. Here are the movies you should watch this weekend.

Sweet Girl is an elevated action thriller about a man’s quest to bring the American healthcare system to heel. Cooper is played by Jason Momoa (Aquaman), a loving father and husband who loses his wife due to the pharmaceutical industry’s selfishness. He sets out for vengeance against her killers — and the entire messed-up system — while also attempting to protect the only family he has left: his daughter (Isabela Merced).
The Chair follows Dr Ji-Yoon Kim (Sandra Oh) as she navigates her new role as the Chair of the English department at prestigious Pembroke University. Ji-Yoon is faced with a unique set of challenges as the first woman to chair the department, and as one of the few staff members of colour at the university. Starring Sandra Oh, Jay Duplass, Holland Taylor, Bob Balaban, Nana Mensah, David Morse, and Everly Carganilla.
